Questions bettors ask
How do I convert American odds to decimal?
For plus odds, divide by 100 and add 1: +150 is 1 + 1.50 = 2.50. For minus odds, divide 100 by the number (without the minus) and add 1: −110 is 1 + 100 ÷ 110 = 1.91.
How do I convert decimal odds to American?
At 2.00 or more, subtract 1 and multiply by 100: 2.50 is +150. Under 2.00, divide −100 by the decimal odds minus 1: 1.50 is −100 ÷ 0.50 = −200.
How do fractional odds convert?
Fractional odds are profit over stake, so add 1 to get decimal: 3/2 is 1.5 + 1 = 2.50, and 10/11 is about 1.91. Both of those are the same prices as +150 and −110.
What is implied probability?
The chance a price says something will happen: 1 divided by the decimal odds. +150 (2.50) is 40%, −110 (1.91) is 52.4%. A bet is only worth it if you think it wins more often than that.
