What we collect

When you create an account

Your email address, a username and your password, which we store only as a secure hash. If you change your email, we send a link to confirm the new address.

When you use the site

Like most websites, our servers record basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when, to keep the service secure and working. We don't use this to identify you personally.

On your own device

Some things stay in your browser rather than on our servers: your sign-in session, the leagues and teams you follow on your board and how you've arranged it, and your light or dark theme choice (a sto-theme cookie). Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

How we use it

• To run your account and the features you use, such as your board.
• To send emails you need: confirming your address and resetting your password. We send them through our email provider and don't use your address for marketing without asking.
• To keep the service secure, find and fix problems, and understand how it's used.

We don't sell your personal information.

Advertising and cookies

Statosphere is free to use because of advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Statosphere and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, through Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time from that message's link.

Sportsbooks and other sites

We link to sportsbooks and other websites, some of them affiliate links that may earn us a commission. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what they collect is up to them. We don't receive your betting account details.

Your choices and rights

• You can see and change your email and username in your account.
• You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@statosphere.io. Deleting your account removes your personal information, except anything we must keep by law.
• Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EEA and UK), you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict how we use your information. Contact us and we'll help.

Age

Statosphere is for adults: you must be at least 18 to use it, and betting is only for those of legal age where they live (21 in most of the US). We don't knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security and changes

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you by email or on the site if the change is significant.
